Created by me, Tanisha Eaves, the owner and formulator of Real Hair Smoothie. I wanted an all-natural hair treatment to replace the average an deep conditioner or household conditioning hair product. Amino Acids and Real Foods grow and nourish the hair, naturally, so creating something with those key ingredients was very important to me.

As a African American woman, hair has always been a big deal. Growing up with cousins in the hair industry, I learned so much about the business of selling and promoting products. My personal experiences with hair salons, stylists, and the struggle of maintaining my own textured hair has created a story of ups and downs. It has made me extremely passionate about what I do.

Whether at a salon or home hair care, my hair was met with chemicals or excessive heat. The awareness about how to properly care for my natural hair was non-existent. For 10+ years, I only wore hair extensions, weaves, and styles that required lots of heat. As you imagine this damaged my natural hair. One day I realized I didn't need hair extensions or heat heavy styles to feel beautiful. I could love myself and love my natural hair.
